The surface treatment technology of anodized aluminum coils is different from ordinary painting technology. It uses electric current to electrolyze the conductive acidic electrolyte, oxidizing the surface of the aluminum metal that forms the anode, and naturally growing a thick and fine layer of aluminum oxide on the aluminum surface. Protective film, this oxide film is not an additional layer and will not fall off. A thin layer of aluminum oxide is formed on the surface of the aluminum coil, with a thickness of 5 to 20 microns, and a hard anodized film can reach 60 to 200 microns.

Anodizing process

1. Mechanical polishing;

2. Chemical treatment to remove copper components on the surface of certain alloys;

3. Clean and remove oil (for parts that have been anodized, if they need to be re-anodized, use alkali or special chemicals to remove the original anodized surface layer);

4. Place it in dilute sulfuric acid as an anode and energize it to form a surface oxide layer (porous, white translucent film);

5. Dyeing;

6. Fixing (heating or using chromate solution to seal the pores of the surface oxide layer).
